Welcome to Greensforged™

We’re Here!

Customization is encouraged. Design your own pad for the hell of it if you don’t like what’s offered. Go to ‘Contact’ to discuss a plan and off we go.  Easy-peasy.

I make each one by hand. For this reason, orders will take 2-3 weeks to ship.  A little more if I’m swamped.  Have patience.  They’ll be there.

Here’s hoping you have a good experience with them.

As for my encouraging friends at MeFightclub and their great suggestions?  DANKE, Schweinehunds!

Thanks for checking us out.

Custom Casting

Greensforged test labs are currently exploring the next generation of metallic pads.  Hand-cast pads made of beautiful and durable custom alloys are in development and scheduled for availability for spring of 2012.  Stay tuned.

Hard Anodized Aluminum

Aluminum pads are currently in development.  We’re experimenting with 6061 aircraft aluminum with a hard anodized coating.  Pads are currently being tested for performance and durability. We’re working tirelessly to have something for you by the end of the year.

Available colors will be:  gold, blue, green, black, red, and clear, and as always, they’ll be cut into any shape you’d like.

We’re Back!

We’ve been looking forward to returning to production all summer.  We have some awesome new finish choices for our steel pads, as well as new pad materials available soon.

We’re also offering a pad refinishing service for owners who’d like their raw steel pad refurbished or tuned up with our new ‘gunkote’ finish.

Please contact us for more information.

Patina, What Is It Good For?

Your pad, if un-coated, will form a patina unique to you and should be looked at as a feature rather than a bug.  Some pads will develop a pronounced coloring, to heavy oxidation, while others do not.  Sweat tends to cause rapid color change in un-coated metals.

If you suspect the pad will be exposed to sweat on a daily basis, we recommend wiping it off after each use with a light teflon oil or silicone spray.  Or better yet, purchase a pad that has been treated with a protective, rock hard gunkote from Greensforged.

Riveting!

I recently found a local metals shop that can supply me with brass, copper, or bronze bar.  Have been experimenting with making rivets from it as well as steel.  I like the results.

Rivets are available for all square and rectangular pad types and are available for use in your design.
